UC Davis Veterinary Ophthalmologists Treat White Tiger with New Laser Technology

Falcor, an 11-year-old, 412-pound white Bengal-hybrid tiger, was treated by UC Davis ophthalmologists for an eyelid tumor. A laser treatment (only available at a handful of veterinary hospitals nationwide) called photodynamic therapy was used in the procedure.

UC Davis ACVO Members who performed the tumor removal and laser therapy included Drs. Kathy Good and Lauren Charnock, and ABVO Resident, Dr. Sara Adelman.
