ACVO Manuscript Awards

The ACVO annually recognizes outstanding resident research through the "ACVO Manuscript Award" program. Awards are given to the best research and clinical papers in three categories. The deadline for application submission varies according to the conference dates. Check the ACVOconference.org web site in May for guidelines and deadlines. Awards provide $500 cash, a letter of recognition and a crystal plaque, to be awarded at the conference in front of the general session. 2017 Resident Manuscript Award Winners

Residents Get Free Journal Access in 2018!

With the move to online-only Veterinary Ophthalmology journal access, we were able to arrange for complimentary access online to the journal for all of our ABVO residents that have a mentor that is a current member of the ACVO. This is a wonderful benefit for ACVO members to be able to provide to their residents annually.

If you need help activating your online access after January 1st, please contact Rhonda Riccardi at Wiley for assistance. Newly approved residents of current members will automatically be set up with permission to access, but they will need to contact us for instructions on how to set it up online.

VO Journal

Congratulations Journal Award Winners
Every spring ACVO awards approximately 20 subscriptions to its journal, Veterinary Ophthalmology, to deserving veterinary students around the country. Find out more about ACVO's Journal awards, check to see if your veterinary college qualifies. See photos and thank you notes from our deserving winners!

This program supports veterinary students' interests in ophthalmology. ACVO also offers online courses in veterinary ophthalmology for students at severely reduced rates. View this sample presentation to review the format, courses are applied (this example was an abstract presentation). Contact us for more information.

ACVO Conference
