OPHTHALMOLOGY COURSES

Not all courses listed below are organized, nor endorsed by the ACVO. You are welcome to submit your veterinary ophthalmology related CE courses to the office for placement on this page.

Realizing that a veterinary ophthalmologist's effectiveness depends on sound, up-to-date continuing education, the ACVO supplies 15-20 hours of ophthalmologic education annually through its annual scientific conference. These annual conferences provide both veterinary ophthalmologists and general practice veterinarians with up to date education updates in this field. Credit hours provided by established veterinary specialty organizations are approved in the 50 states, therefore separate RACE approval is not sought or necessary. CE hours can be applied to general DVM licensing renewals. ACVO residents, general practice veterinarians, technicians and exhibitors are also welcome to participate in the conferences. Exhibition and sponsor opportunities are also available.
