Ophthalmology is one of the highest volume referral specialties within our practice and enjoys a strong reputation for excellent patient care and client service. We are looking for a board-certified/board-eligible ophthalmologist to join our growing team, continue to provide the care and compassion for which we are known and to guide our well-established ophthalmology practice to even further growth.

Our current ophthalmology equipment includes Kowa SI-15 slit lamps, binocular indirect ophthalmoscope with an assortment of condensing lenses, Reichert tonopen, Retinal Graphics ERG, Zeiss operating microscope with an assistantís head, I-Med phacoemulsification unit and Diovet diode laser with G-probes and a laser-indirect headset. We also have a dedicated ophthalmology operating room and will enhance that as a part of our on-going expansion to 28,000 square feet.

Our practice comprises emergency/critical care, ophthalmology, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, neurology, acupuncture/herbal medicine and dermatology. We have recently expanded our emergency team and are currently also looking for a cardiologist and a third internal medicine clinician. We anticipate further recruitment to support other services as our busy practice and our hospital facility expand. We are very proud to support well-established internship and residency programs in surgery, an internal medicine internship and a rotating intern program across our entire company.

Rochester is located in Western New York and offers one of the broadest ranges of cultural, sporting and recreational activities of any comparably sized city in the United States. Some of these activities include camping, wine tasting and water sports in and around the popular Finger Lakes area. Hiking trails and winter skiing/snowboarding facilities are plentiful across the region.
